Call for sponsors · 2027 edition

Sponsor the ISE course

Around 16 teams of ITU students spend a semester building software for real companies. Sponsoring the course puts your organisation, your products and your people in front of those students — and in front of the companies that bring the projects.

What you are sponsoring

Industrial Software Engineering puts bachelor and master students together in teams — eight to ten developers with a master’s student as Scrum Master — and gives each team a real project from a real company. Two weeks of kickoff, eleven weeks of sprints, around 16 teams running at once, with industrial agile coaches alongside them.

Companies bring the projects and a Product Owner; they pay no fee for the team’s work. Sponsorship is what funds the course around those projects — the Scrum training and certification, the simulation, the events where everyone meets — and it is why we can take a good project from a company of any size.

Sponsorship packages

Course sponsorship stands on its own. The two additions are single-sponsor roles, taken on top of it.

Course sponsorship

DKK 30,000

  • Your logo on the course event material and on the course publicity material
  • Your company mentioned during the official course events
  • A dedicated booth at the final celebration, announced when the session opens — we build it, you staff it
  • Invited participation in selected course activities
  • A collaboration agreement with the IT University of Copenhagen
  • A contribution to the course’s running costs, such as the Scrum simulation

Addition: quality award

+ DKK 30,000

A rotating role, arranged by the teaching team with companies that have a lasting engagement with the course.

  • Sole sponsor of the quality award, and its funding
  • A dedicated agenda item to present the award at the official events
  • Your name on the award wherever it is mentioned — events, event material, publicity
  • You design the award, nominate a contact, present it, and attend the project presentations and the final celebration

Addition: final celebration

+ DKK 15,000

The session where every team presents what it built, to the whole course and its companies.

  • Sole sponsor of the final celebration, and the funding of the event itself
  • Your name on the celebration wherever it is mentioned — events, event material, publicity

Amounts are invoiced by ITU, which adds VAT. Have something else in mind? We are happy to put together a tailored package.

Where you meet the students

Three official events carry the course year. Sponsors are named at all of them, and invited to take part in selected course activities.

Opening session

The course opens: the cohort, the teaching team and the companies in one room at the start of the semester.

Matchmaking session

Companies pitch their projects and the teams form around them — the moment students choose who they will work with.

Final celebration

Every team presents what it built. This is where the sponsor booth stands, announced as the session opens.

How it is set up

  1. 1 A conversation. What you want out of it, which package fits, and whether anything should be tailored.
  2. 2 A collaboration agreement with ITU. A framework agreement, signed once. It runs indefinitely, either side can end it, and activities are added as addendums with their own scope and budget.
  3. 3 An invoice from ITU. We need your company name and address, your CVR number — or an EAN number if you are a Danish public enterprise — and a contact person.

Worth knowing

Intellectual property
Each side owns what it creates; joint work is owned in proportion to the contribution. IP created by a student belongs to that student, and ITU has a template agreement if you want to take it over.
Confidentiality
ITU is bound by the confidentiality clause of the Danish Public Administration Act, and specific NDA terms can be added per activity. A quality award sponsor also signs an addendum covering what is disclosed during project presentations.
Students come first
Students must always be able to sit their exams; that cannot be signed away. A student can mark a project confidential and ask for a closed oral exam.
Who else is in the room
Competitors may be present, as sponsors or as participating companies. We may also limit sponsorship to companies relevant to the aims of the course, and other sponsors may have negotiated different arrangements.

The companies behind the course

Three today. We have room for one more.

Talk to us about sponsoring

Write to Paolo Tell, who runs the course, with a line about your company and which package interests you. We will take it from there — including a tailored package, if that suits you better.
